We collect information on you in order to process your claim for a Free Help to Heat Grant. We do not use your data for any other marketing purposes. From time to time we may contact you in the following circumstances:

  1. To progress your claim
  2. To inform you of any changes in grant availability
  3. To inform you of our other services which may benefit you

We do not share your data with any other business or organisation except where it is necessary to your Free Help to heat Grant claim.

How long we retain your data

We retain your data through the process of managing your claim. Once your claim is approved we have a statutory obligation to retain your data for a minimum of 3 years. If your claim is unsuccessful we will retain your data for 1 year, in order to inform you of changes to the grant availability.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
